It was Helios’s hour of sad indie pop within MoonQuill, all 180 or so minutes of it. The world was bleak as Helios’s parents had forced him to go home early. He sat sadly and listened to the soothing tunes. There was not much difference between doing nothing alone and nothing with friends but it was this subtle difference that brought Helios a sea of depression. He was just a young boy with a love of music. All music except for EDM and country because in his own words “It sucks”. He liked to share it with his friends but now he couldn’t due to his owners’ word.

“I will be going to bed together with you Helios.” Spoke Acedus. He was someone Helios knew from the other side, the wider world. Helios had a mischievous smile on his face. It was time to make his next move.

“Acedus, why don’t you come over to my place?”

There was no innocence in these words. The predatorial sun deity made advances on our young hero, similar to a demon king. He was shameless, not caring for the thoughts of those around him. Neither did the audience as they supported the Acelios ship wholeheartedly. The steps were made and Acedus was thrust into a kabedon.

“Are you ready to go to bed Acedus?” he asks in a stern yet caring voice. The onlookers where on the edge of their seats, could this be when it finally happens? The thrilling conclusion to Acelios! But it is only chapter 1!

“No” Flat. Direct. Blunt. The sun visibly dimmed as Acedus pushed Helios away. He stood there with large dull eyes. His audience, Tofu, Aroma and the greatest character of them all, Jupiter, all came up to comfort the sun deity.

“All I want to do is confess my love to him. Is that so hard?” the sun deity cried out. The smell and not food tempted him to join the dark side. They whispered sweet nothings into the sun deities’ ears, stalk him, eliminate all competition around him and make him realise that you are the only one for him. The voice of reason spoke out.

“You do not need to change the way you are, it is clearly getting through to him”

In what seemed like a desperate bid to defend himself Acedus plays his greatest card and puts it into play.

“I will tell your gf you are cheating on her.”

Helios stared down the newly returned Acedus with great fervor. He was like a fanatic and Acedus was his god. Nothing could deter his newfound motivation, not even his gf. He mustered up all his courage and shouted

“Acedus, will you marry me?”

He stood there like a marionette controlled by the cosmos. His eyes glazed over and became so rigid that if you threw a piece of diamond at him it would only shatter. Helios already began planning the wedding. Aroma was to be the bridesmaid, Tofu the ring bearer and Jupiter as the host.

The ceremony began and everyone was excited for a happy ending but it was only chapter 1. How could there be a happy conclusion so early. Acedus had stood up Helios! Everyone was concerned he had run off when Acedus shows up fashionably late in a war chariot, with an army of crusaders matching by his side.

“It is time for a purge!” He shouts with righteous fury.

The crusaders charge in eliminating all traces of the wedding. Tofu, Helios and Jupiter escape unscathed. They searched for Aroma and found her in the debris. A flaming sword had been thrust through the centre of her chest. The flames gently flickered as Aroma knelt there, accepting here untimely end with over dramatism.

A funeral was quickly arranged for Aroma. There was not many people to invite and she had already prepared her coffin. It was made of rosewood, A nice aroma for a nice Aroma.

Since then Aroma has carried the faint scent of rosewood with her.
