“Let’s go to that counter,” Su Jun said.
Duan Xi nodded her head in agreement, and they walked to the counter Su Jun pointed at. As they approached it, he saw that behind the counter stood an old woman with a wrinkly face, short white hair and closed eyes. Stopping at it, he glanced above her head as he said, “We want to take a mission.”

Duan Zao moved her head to Su Jun’s voice and opened her eyes. She saw his young, fifteen-year-old face and nodded her head,
He seems like a new disciple.
“Magical beast core gathering or ingredient gathering mission. Which one do you want?”
Ingredient gathering… Maybe there is a mission to gather the herb that I need…
“What kind of ingredient gathering missions are there?” Su Jun asked.
Duan Xi’s eyebrows rose in surprise. She turned her head to Su Jun, “You want to gather ingredients? The contribution points you will get from a gathering mission will be much lower than what you would get from a magical beast core gathering mission.”
Su Jun and Duan Zao turned their heads to Duan Xi; her eyes and mouth widened in shock. He opened his mouth to speak. But before even a single word left his mouth, she shouted, “You are!” Her loud shout alarmed every disciple and elder inside the building including Su Jun and Duan Xi. They all turned their heads towards Duan Zao.
Once the disciples turned their heads, their eyes widened in shock and they all gasped; a few of them shouted out.
“That’s Su Jun!”
“He crippled a rank 4 martial mortal with a single punch!”
“Not only that, but he almost killed him!”
“Is he here to take the mission?!”
“I wonder what kind of mission he will be doing!”
The elders furrowed their eyebrows and different thoughts flashed through their heads.

“You—you are Duan Xi! The patriarch’s daughter and the third strongest inner disciple!” Duan Zao shouted out in a shaking voice while pointing her finger at Duan Xi.
All the elders except for one, widened their eyes and gasped in shock. All the outer sect disciple widened their eyes even more and gasped in shock for the second time; a few of them shouted out.
“What did the elder say?!”
“Inner disciple?!”
“Third strongest?!”
“Sect master’s daughter?!”
“What?!”
One of the disciples that was in the restaurant five days ago gulped down his saliva and mumbled, “It’s no wonder, Duan Li showed such a reaction when he saw her!”
Cui Ni the only elder that didn’t show a shocked reaction bowed down his head, “I pay respects to the young miss!” he said in loud respect filled clear voice. The elders exchanged glances and they all repeated what Cui Ni did. They all bowed down their heads and one after another said, “We greet the young miss!”
Su Jun looked around then shook his head and turned his head to Duan Xi, looking at her.
Duan Xi ignoring them looked at Duan Zao, “We want to take a mission,” she said with an indifferent expression on her face.
Duan Zao nodded hastily, “Yes, yes, of course… what mission would you like Magical beast core gathering mission or ingredient gathering mission?”
“Didn’t you hear him?” Duan Xi said.
Duan Zao glanced at Su Jun and hastily nodded her head, “Yes, yes the gathering missions. There are two available. Earth root gathering mission and peace flower gathering missions. Which one would you like.”
Duan Xi turned her head to Su Jun, a slight smile appeared on her face, “Are you really going to do a gathering missions?”
Duan Zao was the only one that saw this smile and she gasped in shock.
He must be young miss’s lover! I have to treat him the same way as I treat the young miss! I have to show him the utmost respect as he will inevitably become part of Duan family!
There are no lesser Qi root gathering missions.
Su Jun shook his head, “No,” he turned his head to Duan Zao, “What magical beast core gathering missions there are?”
Duan Zao nodded her head, “Young master.” Duan Xi titled her head in confusion,

He thought as Duan Zao said, “There is only one magical beast core gathering mission available. It’s the magical boar gathering. You will have to gather cores of rank 1 early stage magical beast. The minimum requirement is ten cores. One contribution points per core.”
I guess that will have to do.
“Okay, we will take this mission,” Su Jun said.
Duan Zao pulled out a book from behind the counter, “Please tell me your name.”
“My name is Su Jun.”
Duan Zao’s eyes widened in surprise,
Su Jun? The one from the rumours that crippled a rank 4 martial mortal while being in rank 4 martial mortal himself?
She breathed out, composing herself and wrote down Duan Xi’s and Su Jun’s name in that order then pulled out a map and extended it towards Su Jun, “The magical boars are in the marked zone. Good luck."
Su Jun took the map from Duan Zao’s hands and hid it inside his clothes, turned to Duan Xi, “Shall we go?”
Duan Xi nodded, “Yeah, let’s go,” she said with a smile.
Su Jun nodded and they under the disciples and elders gazes walked out of the mission building. Leaving the building, he pulled out the map, “We have to take the east exit again.”
Duan Xi nodded, “Alright.” Su Jun hid the map in his clothes and they walked to the east exit. Reaching it, they saw the same elder that stood there before. They walked up to him, showed him the map and walked out of the sect; the left for the location of magical boars.
Su Jun and Duan Xi reached the forest showed on the map in less than twenty minutes and without encountering anyone. They looked around and Su Jun smiled, “Duan Xi do you want to compete?”
Duan Xi turned her head to him and slightly tilted her head, “What do you mean by ‘compete’?”
“Let’s split up and hunt the magical boars separately. I will take the south part of the forest and you the north part of the forest. The one that will have most magical boar cores in four days will get to keep them all. How about it?” Su Jun said with a smile.
