With a bright and hearty smile on her face, Kallen said, "Rulu, you are my boss, why are you being so polite with me? But having said that, this incident was really thrilling. If our luck had been slightly worse, we would have really died in the Sanctuary and never been able to come back."
"Yeah, anyway, everyone has worked hard during this period of time," Rulu said. Then he turned his gaze to W.W. and said, "W.W., what are your plans for the future? If you want to return to the Sanctuary and start your life there anew, I can help you."
With a calm expression, W.W. said, "No need. I plan to follow Lady C.C. and live here for a while. I have no plans to return to the Sanctuary for the time being."
Rulu nodded and said, "Then, W.W., why don't you come back to the Huaxia Nation with us and live in the Huaxia Nation from now on? What do you think, W.W.?"
W.W. said, "I don't know much about things outside the Sanctuary, so you can just make the decisions regarding these matters."
Rulu said, "Then it's decided. Although we have left the Sanctuary now, we cannot let our guard down. We must try our best not to expose our tracks, otherwise, if the Emperor of the Sanctuary sends people to chase after us, things will become troublesome."
Kallen said, "Why don't we hide on this small island first? After a few days, when we are sure that the people from the Sanctuary haven't caught up, we can figure out a way to return to the Huaxia Nation."
Pondering for a moment, Rulu said, "That is a good idea. Do you guys have any other opinions or thoughts?"
Nana, Shari, and the others all stated that Rulu could just make the decision, so they finally decided to stay on this island for a period of time.
Afterward, everyone sat in a circle, used branches to light a bonfire, and started roasting the beast Kallen had just caught while eating the fruits W.W. had collected. As Rulu ate his food, he asked C.C. about what happened after he fell into a coma. C.C. told Rulu about the events following his coma, and after hearing C.C.'s words, Rulu's blurry memories gradually became clear, and he remembered many things he hadn't recalled before.
Suddenly, Shari spoke out of the blue, "Say, Rulu, I have some things I want to ask you."
Rulu immediately turned his gaze to Shari: "What is it, Shari?"
After hesitating for a moment, Shari said, "Earlier, when Nana and I were captured and taken into that Emperor's palace, I vaguely heard the Emperor say that you were his child. I want to ask if this is true. Are you really a prince of the Sanctuary, Rulu?"
"Uh, this, about this matter, how should I put it..." Rulu's expression immediately became flustered. He began to observe the reactions of the others around him and noticed that Kallen and Nana were staring at him nervously, appearing highly concerned about this question, while C.C. looked like she was enjoying a good show, watching him with a teasing smile on her face.
Feeling that he could no longer hide this matter, Rulu sighed and said slowly, "Alright, there is no need to keep hiding this from you all. You are right, Shari. I am a prince of the Sanctuary, and that Emperor of the Sanctuary is my biological father."
"So it is actually true!" Shari exclaimed in surprise. "To think that you are actually a prince of the Sanctuary, Rulu. I never dreamed that such a thing could be possible."
Kallen also said in great surprise, "I always felt that you were far from simple, Rulu, but I didn't expect you to have such a background. However, since you are a prince of the Sanctuary, Rulu, why are you opposing the Emperor of the Sanctuary? I feel as if you and that Emperor share some deep-seated hatred."
Looking very uncomfortable, Rulu said, "Well, it's because back when I was still a prince of the Sanctuary, some bad things happened, and because of those things, I lost my status and position as a prince, and was ultimately forced to leave the Sanctuary."
"Some bad things, what were those things?" Shari asked.
Feeling that these things were a bit hard to speak of, Rulu said vaguely, "In short, they were some bad things. I won't go into the details."
"How could you be like this? You want to hide things from us again, Rulu. That is going too far, you simply don't treat us as friends." Kallen said, very displeased.
Staring at Rulu with pleading eyes, Shari said, "Tell us, please, Rulu. I really want to know about your past."
Although Nana did not speak, she was also staring at Rulu with a hopeful look in her eyes; it seemed she also really wanted to know these things.
Being pestered endlessly by Shari and the others, Rulu had no choice but to say with a helpless face, "Fine then, I will briefly talk a bit about my past, but you must promise not to tell anyone else about these things. If anyone leaks these matters, no matter who it is, I will definitely fall out with them."
Kallen patted her chest and said with full confidence, "Rest assured, Rulu, my lips are completely sealed. I absolutely will not leak your affairs."
Shari and Nana also promised Rulu that they would not tell anyone else about this. Hearing everyone say this, Rulu then very reluctantly recounted his past encounters in the Sanctuary, how his mother and younger sister were assassinated by other royal family members, and how he was expelled from the Sanctuary by the Emperor of the Sanctuary.
After listening to Rulu's words, Kallen said thoughtfully, "So that's how it is. I didn't expect you to have such a tragic past experience, Rulu. No wonder you hate the Sanctuary so much and would even make an enemy out of your own biological father."
Shari said in slight disbelief, "How could those people be so bad? Rulu, you are their relative no matter what, yet they actually disregarded family ties entirely and went as far as murdering their own kin. That is truly going too far."
With a gloomy expression, Rulu said, "Alright, I have already told you the things you wanted to know. I am a little tired now, so please don't ask any more questions."
Seeing that Rulu was in a bad mood, Kallen, Shari, and the others tactfully stopped asking questions, and everyone began to eat in silence.
Suddenly, as if remembering something, Kallen said loudly, "By the way, Rulu, I have another important question to ask you."
Glaring at Kallen unhappily, Rulu said, "What do you want to say now, Kallen?!"
Kallen said with great excitement, "Didn't Shari die when we were in the Sanctuary? I want to ask what method you used to resurrect Shari, who was already dead, and even grant her a power that ordinary people don't have. This is simply a miracle, no... it's even more amazing than a miracle!"
"Uh, you mean about that... let me think about it first..." Rulu was taken aback. He rested his chin on his hand, lowered his head, and pondered very seriously for a while before saying, "I don't know."
"You don't know?!" Kallen was stunned. "That can't be possible, you resurrected Shari with your own hands. How could you not know?"
Rulu frowned and said very seriously, "I genuinely don't know, because my memory of the period right before I fell into a coma is very blurry. I don't even remember that it was me who resurrected Shari, let alone tell you how I brought her back to life."
