Many seek the Dao, everyone has their own path; everyone fights to reach the top. Grasping at straws, Emperors, Kings, and Lords seek the Dao asking their scholars and reading books. The warrior, soaked in crimson, seeks it through the battlefield. The humble farmer seeks it while tilling his field. All desire longevity, but who is deemed worthy to achieve immortality? After fighting my way to the top, I, Bi Tianrui, continue to seek the Dao even after achieving immortality. For other fellow cultivators that are fated with me, I leave these records of my contemplation of the Dao.
