I'm still alive. We are having a much harder time than I had imagined trying to get a good setting on my VP shunt and I'm just... not being able to write. The pressure in my brain has been readjusted every month since my October surgery. It's currently set at the lowest setting it has ever been at (the one they installed it at) and I still don't feel like it's enough / right / good yet. Our best guess is that the shattered shunt had been seeping for years before it finally came apart fully.
This chapter took me an entire month to write, and I don't know when I'll be able to complete the next. I'll keep trying.
