Chapter 15 - ÔÜ£´©ÅFIFTEENÔÜ£´©Å

Amelia and the other dragon riders had made it back to there guild, she was standing in her bedroom trying to get her clothes off but every time she tried to reach for her tie, she couldn't help but flinch or twinge at the pain that was running through her body.

A quiet hiss left her mouth, before she heard someone stop at her doorway. Slowly she turned around to see Ruvaen standing there. Staring at her, his eyes filled with a few tears.

He didn't like seeing any of his team mates hurt or physically unable to move. "Here." He walked forward gently turning Amelia around to face the wall.

His fingers slid through the tie, his fingrers pulling each strand at once m, slowly the top fell to the ground. Ruvaen sucked some air in as he started at the gashes and bruises on her body. A massive bruise on the left side of her ribs, it was already purple but a deep purple almost black.

"Do you want anything for it?" Ruvaen asked.

"I'll be fine, don't worry," Amelia replied as she walked over to her dresser, where she pulled out another shirt.

Ruvaen helped her dress into the fresh shirt she was putting on. Meanwhile Phyahi was going through his family house just on the outskirts of Rishnag. He was looking for something, something that could help hopefully someone.

His parents have had what he was looking for, since the dark ages. It's a powerful book, he went through his fathers last chest when he saw it.

'

Yes'

he thought to himself as he picked it up.

He read the cover of the book with a huge smile of his face '

bók hinna dauðu

.' He knew it would be a risk giving it to this person but it's all he could do. To get rid of the one person he has always wanted too.

Seeing her fight today, proved his point, she was very powerful indeed and if she was to lose control of her abilities it could cause serious amounts of damage to not only himself but everyone else.

Phyahi placed on his blue cloak as he headed out the door towards the dungeons where Lord Ragnar was keeping Troy. A wide pair of worn statues in a shadowy thicket marks the entrance to the castles dungeon. Beyond the pair of worn statues lies a massive, shady room. It's covered in dead insects, remains and puddles of water.

Phyahi grabbed a torch from one of the holsters that was held up by some metal, placing the waxed stick into some fire watching as it lit up. Allowing light to grow where he spotted a broken statue part of a fountain, weathered and ravished by time itself.

Further ahead are two paths, Phyahi took the one on the right as he semi remembered where to go, it was a twisted trail that lead to countless other pathways. He headed down the ghostly area.

Small holes and carved paths cover the walls, it looks like a community or burrow for small creatures. He spotted some guards drinking some rum, giving them a slight nod.

Since Lord Ragnar misjudged the situation with Amelia, Ruvaen and Ceada. He's told his guards to be mindful of us. To them, he was probably heading to chat with someone down there for dragon rider business.

Finally he made it to Troy's cage, seeing him sitting there, his hands chained to a wall.

"What do you want? Dragon rider?" Troy spoke.

"I'm here to help you, you and me have something in common."

A short laugh left Troy's mouth as he looked up, "And what is that?" He asked, an amused smile was left hanging on his mouth.

"We both want Amelia gone, I don't like mages but for you I'll make an exception," Phyahi replied, he uncovered the book that was tucked under his arm.

Troy stepped forward grasping at the book, "Where did you get this?" He asked, his eyes filled with amazement as he looked at it.

"My people were sent to protect it and guard it. But it could be useful to get rid of Amelia. She may be powerful but she isn't that powerful," Phyahi replied.

Troy grasped the book in his hand, "How can I trust you? What if you tell them?"

Phyahi scoffed and shook his head, "No, they won't ever know it's you unless you give it away. Here is the key to escape but make sure you do it a guard change over which is around 3 o'clock."

Troy said nothing but nodded his head in response and took his seat back on the floor like nothing had happened. Phyahi began to leave the dungeon, nodding towards the guards again once he passed them.

Ruvean and the dragon riders were seated once again at the circled table, looking at the request form for a new assignment they were just given.

"What's happening here?" Phyahi asked as he read through the assignment to understand what was needed from them.

"A riot has started out on the island of Bilsborrow, between to different nations we must try and help them work together," Ruvaen replied.

"Why has that got to do with us?" Phyahi asked.

"Well since that stunt that was pulled by Richards man, trust hasn't been on our side and lots of people have lost their faith in us. So it's up to us to show them that we still can be trusted and we are still willing to help anyone," Ruvean replied.

Amelia didn't say much as she looked through the assignment, her eyes wondered down the page.

"You are very quiet over there Amelia, what's on your mind?" Sam spoke up.

Amelia's eyes left the paper as she looked at him, "Nothing, just reading."

Phyahi scoffed, rolling his eyes, "Well this is kind of your fault."

"Phyahi!" Scros shouted.

"No he isn't wrong, don't worry guys I won't be going this time anyway. I'm still recovering from the fight in the arena so don't worry Phyahi," Amelia replied.

Phyahi eyes opened wide as he listened to what she said, "You're... you're staying here?"

"Yes, is that a problem?" Amelia asked in confusion.

"Well no, I just thought you always liked to go on missions."

Amelia hummed a little, "I do but I can't really fight at the moment if one erupts."

Phyahi scratched his neck and coughed slightly as he grew anxious this could ruin his plan. If Amelia catches her brother leaving she will go after him and his plan would be destroyed.

"Wouldn't that be good for you too go? If you have to fight then I'm sure many of us want to help you," Phyahi replied.

"Why do you want Amelia to go so badly?" Ruvaen asked.

"It'll be good for her to fly again, I'm sure Ethrinria would love a flight and she'll be gentle right," Phyahi replied.

"Well I guess it will be good for Ethrinria to go, I'll just take some medicine before I go," Amelia replied.

Phyahi sighed quietly and sat back in his chair, thank god she decided to go.
