Troy looked around the room he was in, it was filled with glass bottles, potion mixture everything he needed to create an army to destroy Amelia. He placed the book down onto the large oak table, skimming through it when he landed on a conquering spell called Rise Of Orthros.
He frowned as he looked over at the spell, all it needed was a bit of his blood, a red candle and a piece of his shirt and it was under his control until no longer needed.
'This would be perfect
,' he thought to himself.
Grabbing a red candle from the shelf next to him, he placed it in front of him, ripping part of his shirt off. When he lit the candle on fire he began to talk out the conquering spell.
"
Andar hyldýpsins, hér kallar mínir allir öflugustu einn og allir, Orthros hugsanir mínar syngja í gegnum alheiminn sem þær hringja nú. Taktu óvin þinn, taktu högg hennar. Brjóttu hana, smánaðu hana á nóttunni. Úr voldugum heljardjúpum, kastið myrkri þínu á skel hans. Ó Orthros, ó skínandi stjarna. Snertu hann, brenndu hann úr fjarska. Hefndin mun eiga sinn dag þar sem óvinur þinn byrjar að berjast. Svo það sé!
" Cutting into his finger allowing it to drip onto his shirt.
The flame shot up and the place around him began to shake. He gripped onto the table holding himself steady, before smiling. It was working, he never thought it would work. It wasn't long until behind him stood a skeleton around 11ft behind him.
Troy turned around and looked at Orthros taking in his features, his bones were pure white, but held a staff up with a skeleton on it, like it was a king, the bones around it were almost a rotting texture. His clothes were torn and on his left hand he held a diamond sword, the base made out of bones.
Next to him stood a half demon toe creature, with a torn face, an arm that had just been torn off. His skin was pale and his horns were a brownish gold colour. He held a war hammer with his left hand, in his demon tail was a small skeleton dagger.
Troy wondered who that could be, he said nothing as he looked at Orthros again, it was like staring into darkness.
"You summoned me!" Orthros voice boomed.
Troy bowed his head, "Yes powerful one, I want you to destroy everyone and everything until you get to Amelia. You can take pleasure in killing her. The rest I do not care for."
"My henchmen will be on there way, we will see too it that everyone and everything is destroyed. Sozrok, take charge," Orthros commanded.
"Yes my lord," Sozrok bowed his head and headed out of the house.
"What are you going to do all powerful one?" Troy asked Orthros.
"When the time is right I will join, for now it's up to my men to deliver the message of death and destruction. It may lure Amelia out that's when I will strike," he replied before disappearing into the night.
Meanwhile Amelia was taking rest in the house , she was able to change the bandage by herself. Since her body was still healing from the wounds she had received.
"How are you feeling Amelia?" Ruvean asked as he entered the house.
"Like I've been hit by a truck, it's never taken me this long to heal before," she replied, placing her two fingers against the top of her nose.
"Maybe it's because your mentally and physically exhausted. What you went through was hard enough, not to imagine the trust you gained from people around you. Went out the window, soon it'll be back to normal and everyone will know what actually happened,"
"Well I haven't got time, unlike you and mostly the others mages aren't known to be good, that one deed that happened destroyed my reputation I made, all those years of working hard to at least get noticed as the good guy, gone. I'm lucky these guys know me as Scros is here and would have told them if I had done something," Amelia pinched the bridge of her nose before sitting up from the bed.
"Being a water elf myself, lots of people have lost faith in us. Me being half elf, makes me different to the rest. I may not understand properly to what you are going through but remember everyone in this guild.... Well mostly everyone knows you and trust you. I trust you. You will heal all in due time, once you do. No one can stop you," Ruvean replied.
Amelia took a deep breath, she gently sat up and went through her travel pack where she brought out some more medicine for the pain.
Ruvean looked at Amelia once again, “I still don’t get why you came? If I was injured you’d force me to stay back at the guild.”
Amelia sighed before taking a drink of the medicine and gagging a little, “Because something is fishy about Phyahi. He commented on how this was all my fault and then said no you can’t stay here you have to come.”
Ruvean hummed in response, that did happen, he just chose to ignore it thinking that maybe Phyahi was changing but probably not. He took a deep breath and heard the door open making him look up. Ceada walked in giving Ruvean a scroll.
“This was just delivered by Merida,” Ceada said.
Ruvean grasped the scroll and opened it, “
I regret to inform you Ruvean and Amelia that Troy this afternoon escaped the dungeon here at Rishnag, he killed 15 guards. We have put out a bounty on his head, we don’t know where he went or how he escaped. We think someone had given him a key, we aren’t sure whom. One of the guards who managed to survive said he saw Phyahi entering and leaving. We will not rule that out yet, we won’t make the same mistake as last time and do something we regret.
When you finish this mission, meet me at the castle and I will explain what to do next,
King Ragnar
“What is it?” Amelia asked, looking at his face she knew it couldn’t be good.
Ruvean lifted his head from the scroll, his hands were shaking slightly, “Troy escaped.”
“What?” Ceada exclaimed. “How?”
“They aren’t sure, how he escaped. He killed fifteen knights. They aren’t sure where he is. But we all know this isn’t good. If he gets his hands on anyone he will kill them,” Ruvean replied clearing his throat. “Amelia can you head to the other village and find out what is going on, we need to fix this as soon as possible. We need to get back to Rishnag.”
Amelia nodded and stood up, right now she didn’t care that her body was screaming at her to sit down. She needed to do this. She grabbed what she needed and headed out of the house making her way to the other village.
