@1186951105 Thank you so much for leaving a comment! :) I'm part of the LGBTQ+ community, which has definitely given me some lived experience to put into my characters. I've also been (re)discovering a lot of queer stories/histories in my research. It's amazing (both good and bad) how much the Victorian time period influenced our own. We've come far in a lot of ways, but modern attitudes about gender and sexuality are still so firmly rooted in that era.
