How can a woman fall for a man who treated her like she was beneath him?

One word: degrading.

I write romance fantasy with emotionally grounded characters, deep devotion, and high stakes. I'm especially drawn to male leads who are already self-possessed and disciplined-men who are worthy as they are. And I love writing women who are wise, powerful, and whose choices reflect their strength.

Right now, I'm working on a story about a goddess and a supernatural being called the Darkness. He's dangerous, mysterious, and deeply devoted. Their romantic tension is more than personal-the choices they make could shift the balance of their entire world. The story explores themes of duty vs. desire and what it means to love when everything is at stake. 

In the meantime, I've shared a collection of ultra-short romantasy scenes. I'm currently focused on finishing my debut novel, but I'll return with new ultra-short stories when inspiration strikes. If something resonates, I'd love to hear from you-feel free to leave a like or comment.
