I saw you, and I noticed your shyness

I wasn’t the only one who noticed.

It was your blue eyes that caught my fineness

It was your complexion that captured my protist.

You had loved me longer than I knew you

To our surprise, we spoke different yet felt the same

The time we created the art we drew

It was indeed my heart you tried to frame

It’s been two years, two hearts as one

Had our ups and downs, but isn’t over yet

Our story has just begun

But we’ve come a long way since we met

Cause I know that I love you

A sonnet I decided to write for my boyfriend. I tried to write it about our relationship. My boyfriend and I have been together for two years now, and yeah, weÔÇÖve had some fights. I had to put the ÔÇ£isnÔÇÖt over yetÔÇØ because of a time where we almost broke up. The ÔÇ£The time we created the art we drewÔÇØ is about the first time I asked him to come spend time with me. I had asked him to come to the public library with me to finish drawing a picture. We took turns drawing something small on a paper and together drew a large picture. It hangs on my wall above my bed. ÔÇ£We spoke different yet felt the sameÔÇØ talks about how during school we would always say that we would never date, even though both of us in our heads had a crush on each other. We never knew until we said something.
