Time gradually flew by. People were sitting around talking to each other ignoring the voice that rang periodically. Although no one felt hunger or thirst, it made them feel something was wrong. It relieved too as they couldn't find anything in the nearby areas. It was just a desolate land.

Then,

"The trial will begin in 10"

"All beings prepare for combat. Relevant points will be given for each kill. Imagine the perfect weapon for you to wield your soul." The mechanical voice announced.

"Combat? Combat with whom?" people inquired.

As expected no answer was given.

"Weapons? Souls? How can we wield our souls?"

"Is the voice guiding or pushing us off a cliff?"

Somewhere within the crowd

"I think we have to imagine a weapon taking form and some magic might gather to form it. I mean the voice wouldn't lie to us, right?"A Chinese guy with a sharp and handsome look said.

"I tried imagining guns and tanks. Nothing works out."The burly white guy next to him sighed.

"Daniel, do you know? They are not the only weapons."The Chinese guy smirked as he said.

"Hey Everyone!! Imagine the cold weapon you are most comfortable with, to get a weapon. I did and now I have my sword."He shouted loudly to the people around him as he raised his hand.

In his hand was a sword. A golden sword which shone like the sun. It's radiating light reached hundreds of meters away.

"Tian... You?"Daniel looked at the sword as if it was a treasure. To be honest it really might be a treasure for this trial of combat at the least.

Everyone was mesmerized by the shine.

"Hey, kid. Hand over the sword. Do you even know how to use it?" A middle-aged man with thug like appearance came over.

"No can do Mister. Try taking it."Tian mocked.

"You're too full of yourself kid."The man glared.

The middle-aged man rushed towards Tian with a weird movement, attempting to catch him off guard. Little did he know that it was his last rush as a slashing light passed through his head slicing it into half.

People were shocked. Some started vomiting.

 "Anyone can try it again if you want a weapon. Try to imagine the weapon you are comfortable with. Well, you can also try to get my sword if you want. But, be prepared to die if you're unsuccessful."

He spoke as he pointed his sword towards the dead man whose body was still twitching.

The murmurs stopped and there was fear in the eyes of the crowd.

"You really are an assassin aren't you? Tian I believe you now. But you should have let him live at least. I know you wanted to kill the chicken to scare the monkeys. Still, how can we help these civilians by terrorizing them?"Daniel said with a worried voice.

"You think too much. I killed him because I didn't like his stare towards those women there. Also, try to get a weapon as fast as you can and help others acquire it."Tian replied.

 "You also inform as many people as possible on the right after getting your weapon while I inform the people on the left"

"Okay." Daniel nodded as he turned around.

"Don't bother those three other auras, got it? They are all on our side. The dark and strong aura that appeared in the beginning. You should flee when u feel it close to you."Tian warned

'How do you know all this?' Daniel thought as he walked away.

Meanwhile, in another location a few kilometers away from Tian's place a similar incident had happened place within the crowd.

People were baffled with fear as they looked at the dead body of a burly man whose head had been smashed with a shield.

But the culprit was different this time. He was called Suzuki and had a guy named Wang beside him.

"See, how easy it is to kill with this weapon? Get one by yourself or you'll be smashed all the same."Suzuki laughed out mocking the people around him.

"Brother, I think it's alright now. He's dead. Let it go."Wang urged him.

"Okay, brother Wang."

 "By the way, I think we should inform about the weapons to other people too. You take the people on the left after forming your weapon, while I explain the people on the right. Remember to tell as many people as you can. Also, don't bother those three other auras, got it? They are on our side. The dark and strong aura that appeared, in the beginning, could be dangerous though." informed Suzuki.

"As you say, brother."Wang turned around and walked towards a little boulder on the ground.

'I think he knows a few things we don't. Did Japan find out something we have no clue about?'

All four of them split up and guided the people to wield their weapons. Gradually, more people were able to summon weapons. They were told to spread and inform other people about the weapons. They were told that the only way to survive this was by making everyone summon the weapons, they were comfortable with.

The count down continued.

"The trial will begin in 3"

"The trial will begin in 2"

"The trial will begin in 1"
