The beasts were on a rampage. Hunting the unorganized humans was like a game to them. Humans were scared witless and started running towards the inner crowd of people. Like a mob of wild animals scared by the beasts.
The beasts treated them as insects and their weapons as toothpicks. They rushed behind the running humans while munching a few.It seemed like a heavenly feast for the beasts.
On the other side, around the four golden warriors, the beasts were nothing but dogs waiting to be killed. Eventually, the human side started to get tired. They mostly headed towards the four golden warriors while a few stopped the ones rushing towards the inner parts. Some jumped in front of beasts to protect others while others slashed and pierced the beast into minced meat.
The slaughter of men and beasts continued. The ones killing the beasts had their bodies refreshed with energy and jumped towards other beasts being killed eventually.
In other words, it was just utter chaos without the guidance of the Golden Warriors.
After hours and hours of killing and getting fresh reinforcements, each Golden Warrior had almost a 100 million battle-hardened army and was ready to march towards other parts of the temporary settlement.As they moved out after killing the beasts on their sides, they could see an endless amount of human corpses and a few scattered beasts munching on them. The sight was gruesome enough to make a butcher puke himself to death.
All the four armies met and the Golden Warriors greeted each other on the outer boundaries of inner region.
Far away, the inner parts had hundreds of thousands of beasts fighting the humans. As the army was about to rush, one of the golden warriors spoke up in a mighty tone.

The four golden warriors rushed towards the beasts that were the fighting the humans.
"The golden warriors are here."

"Golden warriors protect us."

The four almost fell to their deaths upon hearing that.
