The "unusual circumstance" Sylveria mentioned refers to the fact that they’re just kids, and Veldina is keeping a close watch on them. Unlike guild quests, public quests are open to everyone—normal citizens, soldiers, mercenaries, etc. These quests offer minimal rewards and are mostly for urgent tasks. This is one reason why the adventurer's guild used to experience a lack of available quests. I want to set expectations moving forward: RRS has some brutal parts just like this one, especially in future chapters. Isla, Sylveria, and Isao may be children now, but they retain memories of their past lives. The trio has always been fierce and unwavering in their sense of justice. They may look like kids, but they are seasoned warriors who do not hesitate to eliminate those they judge as evil. In future chapters, I may omit some graphic descriptions, leaving the details to your imagination, as content with excessive violence or mature themes isn't allowed here on Moonquill (based on their response to my inquiries about such content). Alternatively, I might tone down descriptions to make them less graphic or violent. For example, in this chapter, I removed or softened parts from the manuscript that detailed how Isla brutally dealt with the bandits and omitted descriptions of what the bandits experienced.
