Leion woke up in a spacious room; the room had a large window next to a large, fancy handmade bed; it was mainly made of wood; but had some extra metal decoration around its side. The walls of the room had paintings of knights posing in their armour, but all of them had their helmets on, but each piece of armour was unique.

"W...What happened? I can't remember...What did that guy do to me?"

Thought the hero, and he quickly stood up. He was wearing white sleepwear. Suddenly the door of the room opened quietly, and a girl wearing similar white sleepwear stepped in. The girl had very long red hair and golden eyes.

"Brother, you are finally awake! You have been asleep for almost two days!" Shouted the girl, and she quickly rushed over to Leion and hugged him

"Two days, huh... What happened while I was resting?" Asked Leion, and he gently stroked the girl's hair.

"Brother... A large number of soldiers from the black army invaded us, it took almost everything we had to fend them off, but fortunately, one of the elders came to our aid and defeated them!" Explained the girl, and she hugged her brother even tighter than before.

"So it was that dangerous... Even an elder had to take action..." Muttered Leion.

After about a minute, the girl finally let go of him, and they sat down on the hero's bed.

"Father said that you were laying unconsciously in a pool of blood, and after we investigated it, we discovered that it was your own blood, but you were unharmed!" Spoke the girl up once again.

"No injury, you say... Could it be his doing? Wait... Now that I think about it, I feel quite energetic." Thought Leion and then said. "Thanks... I think... I should speak with father as soon as possible."

"Yes; he also wanted to talk with you; and said you should meet him in his study... But I think you should still rest before that."  Replied the girl and hugged her brother once again.

"I have to go!" 

Said Leion and gently grabbed his sister's shoulders. The girl hesitantly let go of him, and then the two of them stood up.

"Brother, let me bring your ring; I know you must be tired... And after that accident, you grew weaker... So I will teleport you there!" Said the girl with great enthusiasm and quickly left the room.

"She is so overprotective... But I can't blame her... Doctors did say that I would die within a year... Two at most." 

Thought Leion and once again clenched his fists, but the moment his sister set foot in the room, he relaxed his hands.

"I must stay strong... I can't show weakness in front of her... I can't let her worry about me!" Thought Leion and extended his hand, and after a deep breath, he spoke up with a smile on his face. "Sis, I know you are worried about me, but I am not weak; I am perfectly fine! I will do it myself; after all, I can't let you use my items; you still have to learn how to use such tools; what if you overdo it and collapse?"

The girl glared at her brother but gave in and handed Leion his ring. The hero smiled and once again gently stroked the girl's hair before putting his ring on. Moments later, Leion's smile started fading, and at that moment, golden colour surrounded him, and he found himself in another room. The room was about the same size as the one he was in previously. It had a giant, round, marble table in its centre and a more decorated wooden one at the end of the room. The room had no windows, yet it was light. The light was provided by crystals; there were three on each wall and one on the two tables.

Three men sat by the round table. The one who sat in front of Leion was the youngest among the men; he had very short black hair and yellowish eyes. The one on his left had slightly long brown hair, brown eyes, and a large scar on the left side of his face; the scar was over his eye, so he was wearing an eyepatch. The last man was the oldest. He had short white hair and a slight patch of beard on his chin. The three men were wearing plated armour, but their designs were not the same.

"Leion! You are finally awake!" Shouted the man with black hair, and jumped up.

"Strange... Ever since that accident, I felt tired whenever I used magic, but now... But now I felt nothing!" Thought Leion and smiled.

"You arrived just perfectly! We were just talking about your great deed and our next steps!" Continued the man.

"I am happy I woke up at the right time, father!"

 Said Leion with a smile, walked over to the table and sat down. The two older men only stared at him, and then the younger one spoke up.

"So he is the famous hero of your land Kainos; I thought he would be older. But it doesn't matter; you have demonstrated great strength. Thanks to your effort, we will only have to deal with Black and the emperor."

"I am afraid it is too early to celebrate." Said Leion, and he looked down at the table and clenched his fists.

"Leion, I know you have been unconscious, but we are almost finished. The elder said that the person who saved Black was so strong that it must have been the emperor himself!" Stated Leion's father and smiled.

"No!" Spoke up Leion with a cold tone and slowly raised his head and stared at his father.
