"So it was him... Hm... Strange. Anyway, I will keep resting." Said Nolin and closed his eyes.

"Y-yes, sir! I will stay quiet!" Replied the girl and sat back down, and continued looking at Nolin.

Minutes flew by quickly while Nolin was sitting quietly. The girl was just sitting and looking at Nolin until Leion finally arrived.

"Nolin, sorry it took soo long. Liniin, from today onward, you are to follow and serve Nolin; thanks to your abilities, it will be easier to communicate with him and find him..." Started talking Leion the moment he arrived but was interrupted.

"So you want to keep an eye on me? And probably spy on me using some sort of vampire servant?"

Said Nolin, and then the girl started sweating and shaking, and  Leion's eyes widened.

"V-Vampire? What are you talking about?" Asked Leion after a moment's pause.

"Oh, don't pretend; I am sure you already knew that. Before you misunderstand me, I have no problem with vampires or any other species as long as they are not bothering me." Said Nolin and started at Leion.

"I... How did you figure it out? You barely spent any time with her..." Said Leion, but at the end, he paused.

"Yes, that is true. But I am not that simple; it is very hard to deceive me. I am not saying that it is impossible." Stated Nolin and sighed.

"Nolin... Look... I would like to apologise, in the name of everyone, especially my sister, who probably caused you the most problem... I have spoken with her, and I would like to ask you to meet her and talk things over... And then would you mind coming to my study... There is something very important I wish to ask of you, and I don't think that it is that secure here!" Said Leion and slightly lowered his head.

"I am willing to go to your study, but I will not go to your sister; if she wants something, she should be the one to initiate the gesture... As I said, I am from a different world. I don't care about your customs, your rules." Declared Nolin and crossed his arms.

"Please... I am begging you... I am willing to do anything I... I just want to establish a friendly relationship with you, and if you have a grudge against my sister, it is impossible... We need everyone against that monarch..." 

Uttered Leion and kneeled down. Upon seeing it, the girl also kneeled down, and although she had calmed down, she was still shaking.

"Hm... Now that I think about it since you said you are the hero here... It might be beneficial to have a hook on you. Fine, I will meet her, but if she annoys me, I will leave; I don't want to deal with unnecessary things. And then I will go to your study to discuss whatever you want... Also, throw away that menace!" Asserted Nolin and pointed at Leion's hand.

"You mean my ring? But I use it to get around the castle; it allows me to teleport between specific stations. And it was gifted to me by my father," Explained Leion.

"I am only telling this because you seem like an upright man. I don't care if you heed my words or not; it is your life, after all!" Added Nolin.

Leion stared at his ring, and after a long pause, he pulled two rings from his pocket. One had a tiny black crystal engraved into it, while the other looked like a stomp; a circular shield with an axe and a knife was inscribed onto it. Leion stood up and walked over to Nolin, and gave both of them to him.

"I don't know how similar our technology is, but the one with the crystal is called a storage ring; it has the ability to store items in its crystal. If I am correct, its volume should be a bit bigger than your current cell's size. The other is my crest. If anyone is bothering you, just show it to them. It symbolises that you are my guest... Unfortunately, I only come to give it to you and ask you to see my sister and me... I have some paperwork to do, but if you need anything, Liniin can reach me, so tell her if you need me."

Said Leion, and after nodding, he walked left. Nolin took a deep breath and looked at the rings, and then put the storage ring on his left index finger, but he didn't do anything with the other, only kept it in his grip. 

"It seems a few things are already in it... A fresh set of clothes, but they seem a bit flashy for me... Never mind, I will decide whether to use it later." 

Thought Nolin as he looked back at the ring. Eventually, he lowered his hand back onto the ground and looked at the girl, who was still shaking and was on her knees.

"Liniin, I presume you know where Leion's sister is and where Leion's study is, right?" Asked Nolin and looked.

"Y-yes, o-of course, sir! I will try my best to serve you well, Master Nolin! I... I hope it is not a problem that I am a vampire." Uttered the girl, and at the end, her voice became faint.

"As I said, I have no problem with other species... Although in my world, there are no vampires." Said Nolin and stood up.

"S-sir?" Muttered Linnin and looked up at Nolin, who was just looking at her.

"Let's go to Leion's sister... I want to get it over with as soon as possible." Said Nolin.

"B... But are you sure you don't want to wear something?! I... It may not be that hot out there." replied the girl quickly and jumped up quickly.

"No, the sooner I get it done, the better. And, of course, I want to test something; now lead the way."
