After many hours of reading, Leion managed to read most of the books. When only three remained, Leion leaned back and just stared at the last three books.

"Nothing... Nothing... I am so fucking tired of reading, but I am way too curious to give up yet! But I guess I should take a break." 

Muttered Leion, and he stood up and stretched his back and arms. After he was finished, he walked over to the door and opened it. Behind it, he noticed that the maid was sitting on a chair, and as he opened the door, he quickly stood up.

"S-sir... Is everything alright? You have been in for hours, but since you said no one can enter, I didn't dare to disturb you!" Jabbered the girl and started fidgeting with her fingers.

"Yes... I decided to take a break." Replied Leion after a few seconds.

"Sir... Someone requested an audience with you, but I told them that you are busy at the moment. They asked me to tell you the following. "Sir, we have captured a prisoner; what should we do with him?" Also, if you are free, I will prepare you a meal right away; you must be hungry, sir." Rattled the girl

"No, that won't be necessary; I am not hungry yet. But, please go and tell them to keep the prisoner there; I will go there as soon as I am finished here." Ordered Leion, and he grasped his fists once again.

"Yes, sir!" 

Replied the girl, and after a quick bow, she left. Leion walked back to the library, and as he stepped inside, he stared at the last three books.

"I hope I will find something!"

Mumbled Leion and then sat down and just kept staring at the books, and after a few minutes, he grabbed the closest one and started reading it. 

"Finally!" Jumped up Leion after almost he finished half of the book.

"This feels somewhat close... Let's see... Ancient magic... "Ancient magic has the power to damage the target's soul and mind instead of causing physical damage"... I think this is the closest one I have read so far but still... It is too vague."  Mumbled Leion and continued reading.

"What... The reason I haven't met anyone using ancient magic is that they lacked the knowledge... Only those can use these unique and predetermined spells... Who has the knowledge of a tenth-tier mage... If it is true, then that guy far surpasses the elders, so he must be befriended... Although it is only speculation... But I have never seen a tenth-tier mage in my life, and the last one died many decades ago!"

Thought Leion and took a deep breath, but a few seconds later, he heard strange noises from the door. Leion shook his head and walked over to the door, and opened it. Behind it, he noticed his sister as he was trying to get past the maid.

"Let go, servant. I want to see my brother!" Ordered the girl.

"I am very sorry, but I was told not to let anyone in!" Insisted the maid.

"It's okay; I just finished not long ago; you don't have to stand guard; also, what did you want to talk about, sister?" Spoke up Leion with a smile.

"Thank you, sir!" Replied the maid and left after bowing.

"Brother! I heard that someone was captured who is related to your injury, so I went to the dungeon!" explained the girl, and she rushed over to her brother and hugged him.

"Wait... What? I told them that I would go as soon as I was free!"

"Don't worry, brother! Nothing bad happened to me as the guards restrained him. Although I tried to question him, he was quite stubborn and wouldn't tell me what I wanted to hear even after the guards beat him up, so now he is being tortured... Maybe that will open his mouth! I hope you are proud of me, brother!" Described the girl with great excitement.

"No... First, I wanted to talk to him... Although I don't know who or what he is, I would have given him a chance at least... You know that I hate resorting to torture, even if he is our enemy... The worst-case scenario is trying to read their mind with magic and then killing them. Why prolong their suffering when we can avoid it thanks to magic!?" Said Leion with slight anger.

"Brother... We did try reading his mind, but we were unable to do so... And we had a tiny bit of an accident," Replied the girl in a faint tone.

"Argh... I will get dressed properly, and then I will go and see what happened and what I can do. Until I come back, you will go to your room and reflect on your rash actions!" Ordered Leion with a cold tone and glared at the girl, who slightly lowered her head and let go of Leion.

"Y-yes, brother... I-I am very sorry!"
