Mika's eyes widened in shock as Mixarnt dumped the contents of three massive sacks onto the guild counter. A dazzling collection of rare and ultra-rare loot spilled out, enough to make even veteran adventurers jealous.
"By the gods, Mixarnt! Where did you get all this?" she gasped, her fingers hovering over the treasure. "These are high-tier drops from some of the toughest monsters in the forest!" Arthur let out a low whistle. "Looks like the kid's been busy," he said, shaking his head. "I've spent months farming for some of these, and he just waltzes in with them after five days?" Other adventurers gathered around, murmuring in awe. Words like "legendary" and "unbelievable" spread through the guild as they stared at Mixarnt’s unbelievable haul.
"Huh? What’s the big deal? I just kept killing and looting for five days straight in the northern part of town," Mixarnt said casually. The room fell silent as the adventurers stared at him, shocked. They all knew the monsters beyond the northern gate were incredibly strong, yet Mixarnt spoke as if it were nothing. It slowly sank in—he had been fighting nonstop, only pausing to sleep and eat before diving back into battle. The sheer stamina and determination needed for such a feat were beyond reckless—it was insane. What they didn’t realize, however, was that Mixarnt’s spirit weapon, combined with the land’s ability to rapidly replenish his mana, made this seemingly impossible feat a reality.
Arthur shook his head, both amazed and bewildered. "You fought high-level goblins, orc leaders, and wild beasts non-stop for five days?" he asked, his tone a mix of disbelief and admiration. "And you only slept when absolutely necessary? That’s... completely insane, Mixarnt!" Mika, still sifting through the loot, looked up at him, equal parts fascinated and concerned. "How is that even possible? You’re only 11! Even experienced adventurers would struggle to keep up with that pace!" The room buzzed with murmurs of agreement. What started as amusement quickly turned into quiet respect for the young prodigy standing before them.
Mixarnt blinked, taking a moment to process Mika’s words. "Wait, really?!" he blurted out, completely shocked. Mika stared at him, dumbfounded. It was clear he had no idea just how insane his achievements were. With a sigh, she handed him the final total. "Three million gold, Mixarnt," she said, her voice carrying a mix of disbelief and amusement. "You’ve earned a fortune that most adventurers wouldn’t see in a lifetime." Mixarnt’s eyes went wide, his jaw dropping. As the realization sank in, a huge grin spread across his face. "Whoa! Three million gold?! That’s amazing! I can buy so many cool things now!" he cheered, practically bouncing with excitement. Arthur let out a booming laugh and clapped the boy on the back. "Congrats, kid! You really earned it!"
"I can buy ice cream! And... meat!" Mixarnt cheered, his mouth watering at the thought. Mika and Arthur exchanged glances, realizing that despite his incredible feats, Mixarnt was still just a kid at heart. Just then, the guild master, an old dwarf, Enkin, stepped out of his office, whistling as he took in the mountain of loot. His sharp eyes scanned the piles of rare treasures before settling on Mixarnt. "Well, well," Enkin mused, crossing his arms. "A Pebble-ranked adventurer bringing in loot that even Emerald-ranked veterans would envy. Impressive." He stepped closer, running his fingers over a goblin king’s crown among the spoils. After a moment, he let out a thoughtful hum. "As remarkable as this is, I can’t promote you just yet, Mixarnt. None of this was done through official guild quests," he explained. Arthur and Mika shared a knowing look. They understood the rules, but it was hard not to admire the boy’s raw talent.
"It's okay! I don’t want a rank increase yet since I haven’t even completed a quest. Alright, I’ll go hunt some slimes!" Mixarnt declared before dashing out of the guild. Arthur sighed, watching the boy disappear through the doors. "And... he's gone again," he said with a chuckle. Mika shook her head, smiling. "That kid is unstoppable. I can barely keep up with him." Enkin, still examining the loot, nodded thoughtfully. "He’s got incredible potential, but without proper guidance, his power could go to waste. The guild might not be prepared for someone like him."
A quiet moment settled over the trio as they considered Mixarnt’s future, each wondering what kind of adventurer he would become.
