Chapter 12 - Discussion

The dragged-out battle became an obsolete show upon the arrival of a gigantic dragon fortress.

The wings of this giant creature spanned the entirety of the valley! the surroundings immediately darkened as the sky was covered by the humongous figure that was slowly descending towards the 'First Tower' sector.

A scroll tied on Feihren's side glowed blue light as a notification from the guards on the towers appeared. Feihren hurriedly commanded that they stand back and just keep watch, hostility wasn't evident from the sudden appearance of a visitor, might as well reciprocate the same level of 'kindness'.

Unlike Destrian's Dragon Fortress back then, which now Feihren owns, this dragon was very different. First of all, this one is lean and fit. Aside from the obvious difference in the body mass, the actual size of this red dragon did not fall short in comparison to that of the Azoic dragon.

The supposed 'fortress' on its back looks a bit smaller than the one on the Azoic Dragon, it was more a like a mansion than a fortress really, with marbled walls and elegant designs on its post, it matches the shiny scales of the red dragon.

The battle immediately halted as Feihren announced that the 'fight' was over. The fact that it had been over 30 minutes and the number of participants that remained on the stage was still equal would obviously arrive at one decision, it's a tie.

There was no objection, not even from the people of Ghiharki that were on the spectator's seats. The faces of the soldiers within the stage were obviously exhausted already. It might have been only 30 minutes, far shorter than fighting in an actual battle. But having the restriction of not landing lethal blows and keeping up with the pace of the enemy, which was not easy as none of the soldiers from either Ghiharki or Freya Kingdom were weak, made the intensity of the fight much higher than usual.

Feihren went down from the spectator's side towards the group of Old man Mendi, who immediately stood guard upon the arrival of the Dragon Empress' mount.

Within the group of nineteen, an illusory beast appeared from the spirit void, the canine figure kowtowed in front of Feihren as its spirit body slowly congealed a physical one. It was Jyuu that was hiding through his spirit form all this while to look after the twins, Feihren already knew of this as he immediately mounted on Jyuu's back.

"It seems that you have taken care of the Tigers pretty well. Thank you." Feihren expressed his satisfaction for a job well done by Jyuu acting as the parent for this two beasts; It should not have been such an easy task especially when they are entirely different animals.

"It was my pleasure. I have never been happier to take care of things, I have never had the opportunity of having a family of my own, this was the closest thing that I could have gotten; It is me who should be thanking you, your Majesty." Jyuu replied earnestly as the two sprinted towards the red dragon fortress that has now completely landed.

Although the appearance of the dragon fortress was something that was unexpected, most of the representatives from the different kingdoms weren't ignorant about it. For those people that hold high positions within their kingdoms, they were prominently knowledgeable about things that involve the powerhouses within the whole Nuwiell.

The sudden appearance of dragon fortress would only mean the arrival of either two powerhouses. The Ancient Dragon Empire or the New Dragon Empire. Only these two Empires were known to have the power to control these legendary creatures.

"What would the Dragon Empire be doing here all of a sudden?... Ow, my back still hurts..." the chief of the Ghiharki representatives, Meju, commented as he struggled while standing up to approach the injured fighters from the battle that were hurrying to return to their seats.

Their kingdom might not have been the best in terms of actually using healing magic, but their physical endurance and regeneration were top-notch that even Meju, who was severely injured yesterday, could now somehow walk properly.

"It would be something regarding the Wolfenstein Kingdom itself…" Prince Jensen, who was just passing by to also help their injured comrades, commented as he heard the query of Meju.

"... Wouldn't this be something that we should worry about?" Meju replied as Prince Jensen added.

"Hmmm… It is indeed something worrying, especially now that our elite soldiers are tired and worn out just from the event alone… What do you think brother?" Jensen sighed as he inquired Prince Joseph.

"That might not be the case... " Pointing towards the clumped group ofWolfenstein soldiers that weren't even 'tired' from the two consecutive battles that they participated in, Joseph added, "They are acting way too calm about this, so, I doubt it would be something troublesome."

"Hmph, you're overestimating these chumps from the Wolfenstein kingdom brother," Prince Benjamin suddenly interrupted out of nowhere as he added "I'd bet that they are just being cocky after having a few wins over us, they're pretty confident that they could take on an Empire? Psh, they're digging their own grave because of that."

"That is not true young lad…"

A middle-aged man from the Chaneian Kingdom interjected within the conversation as he passed by the commotion. "Hmmm… You could say that they are indeed cocky, but they do have the strength to be so. I am not sure if this is public knowledge or not, but the Wolfenstein Kingdom recently subdued one of the kingdoms from the Omod Continent."

"It might just be rumors?" Meju questioned the claim as the man replied,

"Hmmm, then maybe I wasjust dreaming last night about being transported to this kingdom riding giant Wyverns then?" the middle-aged man sarcastically replied as he added,

"the Chaneian kingdom came from the far west of this continent, but when were arrived at the edge of the Jujelei River, we were greeted by riders bearing both the insignia of the Garudia and the Wolfenstein Kingdom."

"Garudia Kingdom?...wait… Wyverns?!? You rode wyverns when you came here?!? But how is that possible?" Meju could not help but get shocked by this, it was true that they were all sleeping tightly last night that they had not noticed the other four kingdoms arriving.

"Indeed, it seems that it is... I am not sure about how they could do it, but that woman over there…" Pointing towards Lucy that was still calmly looking over the balcony, the man added, "She could easily command all those Wyverns with a word."
