Multiple carriages could be seen traveling through the woodlands adjacent to the Jujelei River.
Within these simple looking carriages were grand objects hidden under some dirty-looking rags. These were precious treasures and gems that were plundered from the vaults of the Wolfenstein Kingdom. At a glance, one would think that this was an organized operation lead by bandits. But within this group of rogue figures were familiar faces that the citizens of the kingdom would easily recognize.
King Louie the 3rd and a couple other distant relatives of the royal family were the ones occupying the carts in this group of carriages. The gloomy atmosphere was evident within the carts as every single face inside was dreary. Silence permeated the area as the horses slowly dragged the heavy carts along the paved path towards the deep forest.
"I'll take back everything that was once mine. Just you wait and see..." King Louie the 3rd muttered with seething rage evident in his bloodshot eyes.
They had no choice but to flee before they could get trampled over by the people of Wolfenstein when they found out the truth of what was happening. Leaving the kingdom was the best option.

Bainzen Empire
The news of the death of their emperor had immediately thrown the empire into chaos.
Some of the rebel groups that were against the rule of the deceased emperor had received the news earlier than the rest of the military groups as they had spies within the group of people that were sent from the Ranustin Kingdom. They had personally witnessed the gruesome slaughtering of their fellow Bainzen citizens, including the emperor himself.
They had immediately taken advantage of the chaotic situation from within and had moved to usurp the Empire for themselves. The rebel group, 14 Night Crows, had been in the shadows for quite a while now and had been a prominent power within the 'underworld'. They had all sorts of illegal businesses and they almost completely monopolized the black market for the area. They were more of a notorious gang than a 'rebellious group' for if you were to ask anyone.
On the surface of the Bainzen Empire, the supposed 'chaotic situation' was in fact, non-existent. Unbeknownst to the common citizens, the rebellious groups other than the 14 Night Crows were immediately wiped out. How was this all possible?
Prince Jason, the genius prince of the Bainzen Empire had taken care of them all. Even at his youthful age of 16, he had made a great contribution to the development of the Bainzen Empire. He had comprehended a better agricultural system and had a vast knowledge regarding the 'black dust' that was a well-kept secret for the military powers of the kingdoms within the Jejuron Continent.
In truth, he was a scheming young hooligan who also happened to be the head of the 14 Night Crows. None of the members aside from the first 13 people amongst this group knew that their actual leader was the kingdom's prince. He was 12 years old back when he had first gathered the nobles who were not in favor of the ruling emperor. Then he had concerted all the plans for them to get rid of the emperor using means that would never stain their own hands.
"It has been such a lucky break for me all this time..." Prince Jason grinned as he stared at the horizon.
"So... You're here as well? Guess destiny granted me a second chance. Don't think I have forgotten about what you have done, my old friend..." Prince Jason muttered to himself as he deviously smiled. Although this would usually be something one would think of as a smile of pleasure, one could feel the burning hatred in the depths of the young prince's eyes.

"I think I'm all set? I'll be going now if none of you have anything more that I should be aware of?"
Feihren had finished all his 'preparations' for his supposed trip to the other kingdoms. For some reason he couldn't shake the feeling that these people that were dumbly staring at him had something to say hidden behind their blank expressions.
"Are you seriously going all the way to other kingdoms with just... that?" Prime Minister Marvin retorted while pinching the bridge of his nose. 'This Feihren is really stressing me out... How can you say that you are prepared with only this much stuff?!'
No guards, no carriage, no bags, not even a horse! He was bringing absolutely nothing! Aside from the elegant looking red crossbow that was hanging on his back, Feihren was just wearing brown commoner's clothes. Although Marvin had known that 'carrying equipment' was never a problem for Feihren, this was just too absurd. He was not going to a park or for a run to the market! He was going to other kingdoms and continents for the old god's sake!
"I do think you need to take more things with you, Your Highness. And you could also use some basic assistants, at least a maid or two? Perhaps a few soldiers?"
One of the senators spoke up as he was scratching his head about how to propose for their King to actually carry or bring something with him.
"Pshhaww. You people... come on. It's our great King, his Imperial Highness. He doesn't need guards. It would just end up with him guarding them! Maids? Our king is the most magnanimous person, he wouldn't place such a burden any ladies just for his comfort! It's fine Your Majesty, you can go as you wish!"
The general who was the first to chant Feihren's name back then still hadn't stopped with the boot-licking sessions up until now. This general looked satisfied as he caressed his bearded chin.
Weird looks were thrown at this general by the people around him, but he does not seem to mind any of it. Marvin sighed helplessly as he glanced at Feihren, who then spoke up.
"All right everyone, that's enough. I won't be bringing anyone for now. Maybe on the next trip or two, but as of now I'll just be testing the waters while I travel alone. Don't worry, I can take care of myself."
Feihren raised his hands as he dismissed their concerns. Everyone nodded in agreement to Feihren's last statement of him being able to take care of himself... Heck, he could "take care" of anything that they think could possibly happen for that matter.
They all waved their hands as they bid farewell to their beloved King.
"Which kingdom do you think King Feihren will be going first?" One of the senators randomly threw a quick question at the people who were still watching Feihren disappear unto the horizon.
"Hmmm. From the proposal, he promised to return within 4 months, which is not a lot of time if you ask me. So it is quite likely that he will be heading somewhere on the Shodan Continent." One of the generals replied.
"I highly doubt that... Based on his attitude, he's definitely gonna cause some kind of trouble. But it's probably not gonna affect us anyway. His kind of trouble appears to usually be the fortuitous kind" Marvin answered with a satisfied smile on his face.
